Watercolor and Acrylic Painting - ORIGINAL 12”X12”
This painting is on 100% cotton acid free #140 lb paper and is mounted on a 1 1/2” gallery wrapped canvas. This painting has a wire hanger and does not need framing. The sides of the canvas have been painted a pale pink color. You could frame this with a hollow back float frame if you want a different presentation.
This painting started as an abstract painting, first in watercolors to let the magic accidents happen. I then move it into an abstract painting. Most of my abstract paintings are inspired by landscapes and nature. I then draw the figure onto the abstract in which I proceed to work the two components of abstract art with figurative art. I have personally always felt that abstract and landscapes feel lonely if they don’t have a person in them, but that’s just me. I have been drawing figure since my college days of going to live nude drawing classes. I have been a fan of drawing the figure ever since.
